Group Operations Manager - Highly Competitive Salary

My client is looking to recruit a passionate and driven Operations Manager with excellent leadership skills to join the management team at their highly sucessful restaurant group. They are a brand that pride themselves in delivering a premium quality experience to all guests and therefore require an Operations Manager who can uphold these standards across all of their restaurants.

They are an independently owned restaurant group having a number of sites across the city with diverse cuisine styles. As they are a growing company, they are keen to find individuals who are ambitious, have the right skills and work ethics to join their journey and achieve new heights.

Key Responsibilities . . . . .

The Operations Manager will work closely with the Directors and Head Office team to carry out the following:

Oversee operations of all the restaurants and effectively lead the management team to ensure smooth operations on a day-to-basis.

Ensure high standards are maintained in all areas of the business at all times.

Promote a customer-centric culture within the business and seek to continuously improve standards of food and service.

Train and develop management team members so they are able to achieve their highest potential and can independently manage their responsibilities.

Ensure a strict compliance with Food Hygiene, HACCP and Health & Safety regulations.

Take responsibility for the business performance at each of the restaurants and drive sales and profitability.

Work closely with the Finance Team to determine sales and profitability budgets.

Work to ensure efficiency in managing food costs and labour, and work within the budgets set by company Head Office.

Ensure customer feedback is actioned and dealt with effectively.

Implement marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes.

Proven experience within the restaurants industry in a similar role with a solid understanding of consumer preferences.

Passion for delivering a high standard of service to customers.

Qualifications in management and hospitality

Ability to train and develop members of the team

Whilst relevant experience is undoubtedly essential for this position, my client is looking for someone with the intelligence, intuition and motivation to excel at the role; constantly wanting to better themselves and over deliver. Relevant training will be provided, but they will only consider candidates who have the skills and characteristics listed above.
