Head Chef –Gastropub in Richmond - £33,000

We are recruiting a Head Chef for a branded pub in Richmond, SW London.

Whilst part of a large organisation there is full autonomy over the menu.

This position would suit an experienced Sous Chef looking for his or her first Head Chef position.

As head chef, you will lead a small team in creating and producing fantastic fresh food, using your culinary skills to give the customers a fantastic dining experience.

You will be using fresh, seasonal locally sourced ingredients within a company that is serious about food.

The successful candidate will

  • Have a real passion for food
  • Enjoy the opportunity to lead the kitchen whilst developing his or her own skills
  • Receive comprehensive training in all aspects of the kitchen: stock, financials, employment law and leadership
  • Thrive on the fast pace of and camaraderie in the kitchen

Being a head chef is a real challenge, so you can count of the full support of a team of Executive Chefs to help you develop your skills and progress your career.

You will need to be hands on in all areas of the kitchen as well as possessing good cooking skills. You will also be a great communicator, calm under pressure, and you will be driven by creating high quality, seasonal fresh food.
