Sous Chef – Independent Gastropub, Mortlake - £32,000

We are recruiting a Sous Chef for a beautiful, newly refurbished, homely gastropub in Mortlake, South West London

In this kitchen, you will truly be cooking with only the freshest ingredients, locally sourced where possible and seasonal at all times.

The menu is evolving all the time and great thought goes into finding the best way of serving diners honest, fresh produce.

The pub is a local gem attracting diners from both the immediate area and foodies from further afield.

Sous Chef Requirements

  • Ideally you will be a very experienced Chef de Partie or have Sous Chef experience in a busy restaurant or gastropub with a big focus on cooking fresh food
  • Can build, lead and inspire a team and be creative to build this into a successful business
  • Have excellent knowledge of statutory food safety and health & safety regulations
  • Enjoys sourcing and working with seasonal produce
  • Work well under pressure
  • Possess creativity & enthusiasm
