Lancaster London appoints hotel manager

The Lancaster London has appointed a new manager who will be responsible for running one of Europe's biggest banqueting hotels.

Sally Beck has been named the new manager of the hotel, which employs many industry professionals in a wide range of hospitality and catering jobs. The hotel can cater for as many as 3,000 guests while also boasting two restaurants and 416 rooms.

Before moving to the Lancaster London, Beck was marketing director of its sister five-star hotel, the Landmark London for more than a decade. During that period she was also general manager of Knightsbridge's Basil Street Apartments.

Beck was also a director of her own firm, Purple Summit, a consultancy service for independent hoteliers.

Before joining the Lancaster Landmark Hotel Company, she put in stints as director of sales and marketing at Aramark, the Royal Garden hotel and the Conrad London.
